I'm in for one lower and upper. Maybe two depending on paired price. Thanks to everyone involved for setting this up! Edited by Hozzie

Two uppers and three lowers please. I noticed the pile of barrels and this dumb blackout

I keep talking myself out of building. I already have a pile of finished uppers just collecting dust.

Just to clarify, are these regular CMT uppers or do they make billet uppers to match the lowers?

Doesn't look like they make forged uppers. Looks like billet or nuthin

I'd love to grab one, quick question though. How do stripped lowers work when shipping through FFLs (I've read about some issues as stripped lowers can be used to build a pistol)?  Are those under 21 but over 18 out?  If It's possible, I'd LOVE to get a lower.

Lowers are transferred as "other firearm" and "receiver" on the two fields of 4473.

Must be 21, not really exactly because it can be made into a pistol, but because it's simply not a long gun, which is only thing you can receive through FFL as per federal law at 18-20.

(PM'd you also in case you don't see this).

I'd like one lower, but a bit confused about the 6 FFLs thang. Meaning I don't want to drive from Knoxville to Johnson City or Chattanooga or some such to pick it up?

Btw, Bill's Outpost in Alcoa I'm sure would be happy to do them around here. $25 for first, less for additional ones I think.

Think you got it backwards. I already have two forged uppers sitting in my cabinet from these guys.

You're gonna have to drive to my house to pick it up. We can tell some lies and eat some prunes... It's all good :)

Couldn't find them on their web site. Good question. I'm not interested in building a rifle with a billet lower and forged upper. I just assumed they would be billet too.

Yeah, I just wanted to clarify since I would definitely get a billet upper from them to match the billet lower, but I need another forged upper like I need a hole in the head.

Well, my plan was to secure one of those neato billet uppers from Joe Bob's with the side charging handle if CMT didnt provide a billet upper.

You need to borrow my roll pin starters? Get busy :)

Buddy, that's how I end up with a new AR every so often. I realize all I need is a barrel or something then suddenly another AR materializes in the cabinet.
