Yep I saw that video several years ago and it is in fact someone using a .50bmg to do some long range hunting on mountain goats. Or at least thats what the story was back then

I didn't know that U.S. snipers went mountain goat hunting with Barret rifles and those look a lot more like turbans being blown threw the air than a goat.......but that is jmho   They can make the title what ever they want to if they don't want to let the truth out about what the video is really about....again jmho   If they were hunting goats I would think they would use a more conventional rifle for that purpose.

I saw that a few years ago, and it is bogus. It's not a 50 cal and they were shooting some kind of rodent.

How do you know they were using a Barret? I didn't see it in the video.

 

Hell, I could see some bored snipers doing this. It's good practice I suppose.

It is not peole being shot. It is a video of someone shooting marmots. As a matter of fact if I remember correctly it was a 7mm mag that was being used.

And it is Varmint hunting. Check out "When Pigs Fly", they even use the same scope reticle to show where the shot will be.

Okay, all the critique of this video, and just as much of it could very well be something else. I remember when this video

was posted couple years ago, but I don't remember the critique. What the Hell? Something is getting eradicated, okay?
