9/28 Gun Auction in Lebanon

Recommended Posts

Kwik cash pawn in Lebanon is having a major auction of several hundred firearms on 9/28 at 10am. I saw the gun list today and there's a ton of nice stuff. From pistols including sigs and Glocks, lots of shotguns and rifles and a couple of c&r rifles too.

The auction info should be up on the Agee auction site soon

Did anybody go to this? If so was there a good crowd and were there any deals to be had? Is Kwik cash getting out of the gun business?

The last few firearms auctions I've been to, there was far too much testosterone in the room to get a good deal. It always seemed to come down to two guys that just had to prove they had the bigger....bankroll. It's amazing how many sold at retail prices, if not higher.

I went for a half hour. The guns I was interested in sold for more than I was willing to pay - typical auction.

Kwik Kash will still be buying/selling guns. They just had a a large surplus of firearms

I figured as much, gun auctions almost always seem that way. I stop by there fairly often as it's on my way back and forth, a lot of the guns they had listed in the auction I never saw displayed in the store. I stopped by a couple of days before the auction and they had all the display guns tagged and were not selling anything. I was trying to figure out why they would have all the guns off pawn and just stored in the back rather than on display for sale?

Yeah I love auctions if there isn't a ton of testosterone present but once the bubba's get bidding all logic goes out the window.

Sometimes at auctions, guns or anything else, the cheap stuff goes high and the good stuff which should fetch a good price goes for decent money if you're in the market.
