Some People!

Today at work I had a discussion (more of her talking and my listening) about firearms. This particular lady is one who likes to show off what she (doesn't) know and you can't contradict her at all. don't mind the half gone, black grill, or anything mind you. (she's from Alabama):D

She begins by telling me she was having a hard time finding a good dealer in Nashville that would register her guns. Since she just moved from Alabama. I gently said, "There is no gun registration." She argued that there was, especially since her husband had an "Wazer" AK that was barley legal. She went on to elaborate how it was an auto that was just one part shy of being illegal. What ever that meant. He also got a great deal off GunBroker on the "Wazer". He only paid $200 (which sounds pretty good) only to find out that Wazer's are at least $700 AK's!:D

I just smiled and responded to her question, of where to shoot her $700 "Wazer", at Hobson Pike. :D Some People.

BTW it was entirely gratifying to know that there is at least one person I am more gun knowledgeable than!:D

what the hell is a wazer? some of the older models Aks like the norinco models could have some simple work done then a couple of parts added to make them full auto. But without a lot of work and more parts thats all it was is full auto.

That was some of the humor, she was telling me about a Wasr (II?) but kept calling it a 'Wazer" even after I said it correctly.

There was a girl in my highschool who just moved from chicago to our podunk little town. She didn't realize that us country boys had far more knowledge of guns than her gang banger buddies had in chicago, so she got mad at us all one day, and said, and this is a direct quote, "you've probably never even seen a Berreta Luger", we all looked at eachother, burst out laughing, and enthusiastically agreed.
