Pretty fast paced game in the first half, but entirely due to the large number of turnovers. The second half was just silly. It's as if the Titans were more interested in getting in hard hits and on-field scuffles than they were about putting points on the board or keeping the Falcons from scoring.

They better get their acts together quick.

Anyway, I agree with Tungsten to a point.

Let's not forget that the starters largely aren't playing during the second half. Also during preseason games, you never know what the coaching staff is working on during each play. Preseason games are nothing more than glorified scrimmages and practices, and while it would be nice to win them all, they really don't mean squat.

What really chaps my shorts is that the only frickin game you get is the Ticks if they are not on a bye weekend. There is usually a MUCH better game being played, generally any game being played, but NOOO we are stuck watching the Ticks.

McNair threw only 12 TD's in 1999. He had one of his worst seasons as far as completion % and QB rating go. Hence my statement that they didn't win because of Steve.

I just don't think everything hinges on Vince having a Pro Bowl season. If he doesn't, they can still do fine.

IMO, as long as Jeff Fisher is the coach, they'll live or die by defense. Since they've been in this state, any success they've had has depended heavily on having a good defense and not on how the QB was playing. If they can stop people, they can have a good season.

Like I said, it's just preseason.

It's the same in Memphis--if the Nashville Oilers are playing, they are on tv, even if they are 1-8. None of it matters, Dallas will win the SuperBowl anyway.
