So I ran into the Kmart yesterday on the way home to pick up a new belt for work (I hate KMart but it is on the way home) and as I left the check out counter passing in front of the Portraint Studio they have some of thier portraits on display.

The first one was a Hispanic familly with about 15 members, all dressed in Lime Green. This produced a chuckle from me as I associated them with a Corona beer...

At the last picture, I had to stop, in disbelief, and snap a pic with my phone (Sorry for the poor quality). I could not believe that Gangsta Boo had is "Crip" do-rag on his head with his mother and three brothers.

No Father present...

Phenomenal promotion.....

There was a family ahead of us at Olen Mills about 12 years ago, that was having a family portait taken..

The family elders had on suits and dresses....then I saw overalls, tennis skirts, and an air brush t-shirt come out of the studio. Must have been some portrait.

Needless to say, not only by the way they were dressed, but by the way they were interacting with one another and their treatment of the photographer...they were the epitome of a dysfunctional family.

The family portrait will be very nice at the funeral where everyone tells what a nice boy he was.

I'm sorry, but biker guys, especially old biker guys, always give me a chuckle.

Kinda hard to tell, but it does look black. Black bandannas are also indicative of the Folk Nation. The Folks have many different gangs within them, including the Black Gangster Disciples, Gangster Disciples,...etc. The bandanna seems slightly set off center too the right, which is also indicative of the Folk Nation. I still say it is a gang symbol.

Remember there are many, many more gangs than just the Bloods and Crips. Even stuff like sport team clothing, and colored shoe laces, can indicate gang affiliation.

I've heard one of the "inner city" Nashville public schools have a gang that wears Cleveland Browns attire. Another wears orange. Just rumored, never got the exact facts on this.....
