A very nice (one of kind if not mistaken) Blast 2.  This knife is incredible.  Its enormous in size and feels incredibly overbuilt without being too heavy.

The nice tumbled finished is carried from the handles onto the blade and really makes this a great EDC piece (its been in my pocket since Friday).  The grinds are incredible and the exaggerated clip point really makes the blade unique.  Its comfortable in every position and flips like a dream.  Its rock solid in every regard and locks up like a vault.  There just hasn't been anything about this knife that I don't like.

I'm planning to do a better photoshoot and a video on this knife in the near future.

Is that a child on the bed? You really shouldn't have knives and dangerous things around your children mister.

Haha. Jk. Super nice blade man. Congrats.

Really like the looks of that one, Cap...love them bohunk folders, and personally see no reason to ever have anything but a clip point or drop point blade, myself.

So it's like a "unibody" framelock I guess? Or are those scales on a linerlock there? Steel or aluminum?

The blade is D2 (if memory serves) and the handles are titanium.  Its just a regular old frame lock.  Two pieces of titanium and a piece of steel.  The blade rides on bearings.  Very simple knife but very nice!

Very nice knife, I wish you were closer I would love to compare that to one of my  Q36 knives, I have been eyeing those knives for a long time now I absolutely love the way that knife looks!

It's not one of my favorites. The grips are too slick and the pocket clip sucks.

Good knife but I will never leave the drawer in my kitchen.

Chris,

Just had a chat with Ray,

He is a gentleman as well as a fantastic knife maker

I will have a knife from him sometime next year!

Good deal.  He just added a new model to the lineup.  His largest knife yet and a smaller version.  They are thumbstud knives without flipper called the Magnus (over 4 inches) and the Magnus Minor (3.5").  I hope to add a Magnus to my collection next year.

Here is a video my buddy made of his Magnus Minor.

And when you are talking to Ray, I think you can get a sense of how humble he is.  Very down to Earth guy.

Awesome.  You will love it.  I was in Nashville this weekend and Got to handle that Magnus Minor.  Its an awesome piece as well.  I just haven't played with a Laconico that I didn't like.
