Here are some coordinets from Google......W Norris Rd @36.197087, -84.070518.....that will get you in front of the Police station. Once you pay, they will tell you where to go from there.

I'm looking thru our old threads. Somewhere in there, there are directions. I just have to find them.

So what time are folks meeting where?

I second this. I think all of us want to know when and where.

Mike, I SHOULD be stopping by before the shoot for that scope. It was real nice, and this weekend provides the perfect opportunity to zero it (if I don't get the chance before)

Maybe one day I will be able to make it to one of theses. I sure would like to get out and shoot and meet some new people. I know all of four or five in TN. Maybe next month, as I finish school at the end of this month. Its killing me for time. The distance thing is also an issue for me especially because my truck cant pass the pump. Perhaps next month - Oak ridge?

Sure, just bring anything that goes BOOM and sends projectiles downrange.

When will the date be decided?

It is this Saturday, actually. The 20th of September.

I will see if I can make it out for a little while. Are rifles ok at the Norris range? Specifically, AR's?

For all the newcomers that have never been to the Norris Range, you have to go to the police department and pay the $15 fee and sign the waver before going to the range. They'll give you directions to the range at the PD.

Are we eating first or meeting at the range at a particular time? Lunch at 11:15 at Golden Girls or Shoney's? Both of these are located at the 122 Exit (Clinton /Norris exit) on I-75. Golden Girls is located on the west side of I-75 with Shoney's on the east side. That is the exit you get off to go to Norris anyway. I would vote Shoney's because they are carry friendly. Don't know about GG. Speak up guys and gals. Name your preference.

Shoneys, for me. They have a good cheeseburger.

I won't be able to make this one. Going to Chattanooga to see a Civil War reenactment.

Should be lots of shooting so I wont miss the gun fire. Hope you'll have a great time at Norris.

Shoney's at 11:15 then? Then it's on to the range by 12:30?

I'll be thar.

Will bring Kahr PM9, Ruger SP101, 870 shottie, antique Remington .22 rifle + ammo. Maybe antique .22 pistol, maybe Cobra .38 derringer.

Anyone's welcome to shoot any of them if they ever wanted to try any of them out.

edit: ps, if anyone has a Springfield XD SC 9mm, I'd love to sling a few from it...thinking it's my next must have pistola.

Hey I know this doesn't really apply to this meet. But since some of the other meets have been there can anyone tell me if you can bring a BBQ grill to the Oak Ridge range or if they have them there. Never been there and have a friend asking me.
