that is a sweet rifle, ak's for me are about like ar's for most. I love both, but given the choice Id rather take my saiga's out shooting before my ar's. I dont know what it is about them. This may be the start of an incurable condition for you. Enjoy!

Yes, anything to come out of Romania is reliable, ya know, unless Century gets their hands on it... *quickly ducks under table*

We all start somewhere main. Arsenal mags are great but way overpriced for what they are with the exception of the SAR3(5.56) mags as they are harder to come by. Buy surplus mags when you can, if some don't work(which is NOT often) you can use them as spare parts in the future. Good hunting.

Haha! Aresenal's "Game Changer"! Still haven't made up my mind about those, but to be your first you sure did start at the top. Very Nice!

Lol yeah. The "game changer." To the op, did you get it at the introductory price? I have a SLR-101, and it's hands down the best AK I have ever owned. It's an ashame they skip out on giving you a cleaning rod...

UTG makes a cheap one that's not too shabby, Midwest makes several variations of rails but command a much higher premium for the name.

I was looking at the Midwest Industries extended rail...didn't seem to pricey...heard several people speak highly of them...

Well, $50-60 vs $120-160. It's the only UTG rail I'd use as their AR rails are pretty shoddy at best but the AK variant isn't too bad, funny... anyway, just depends on funds I suppose but with a $1k AK you'll want something a little nicer.
