As Beck suggested in the video, we need to just turn our back on this region unless they attack us or our allies.

These people are never going to be trusted allies, regardless of what we do.

+1 The middle east have been fighting for thousands of years, we are not going to fix their problems by inject our own beliefs in the region

I'm with you except the stuff about China. They will be the next problem if we don't change our foreign policy.

Nations don't have friends, only interests. We are our only friend, right now, and we are also one of our own enemies.

Figure that out. The only thing we have in common with China are temporary interests. No friendship there, at all. We

have similar interests with Russia, but there are a lot of things to work out, like some of our fear(instilled towards us)

based foreign policy, and Israel, who has been an ally and shared interests since their inception, partly because we

had a hand in gaining their sovereignty, and being a trading partner, while understanding some biblical connections

that hold us together, also.

Russia is still trying to figure itself out post communism and is doing quite well at it. China, on the other hand, is preparing

for war and will use a trade war to start it, along with taking back Taiwan. We can't figure out how to deal with China, due

to their mindset and politics. Those numerous little arrogant pricks are, at least, working on their own self interest, just

using slave labor tactics to accomplish it. The only good thing about China is they don't have logistical ability to wage

any conventional war that can reach American soil, but that is part of their goal, after they make a successful cyber and

nuclear attack. Don't sell China short.

The problem with Mexico is they are essentially a banana republic and are out of control. Very unstable and economic

conditions are pitiful. They will keep on coming across the border until their situation is drastically improved. South America

is mostly socialist. Lots of things to sort out. Probably best to let them sort it out without our help and focus on our own

brand of socialism that needs sorting out.

We need to get out of all of this crap and focus on bringing our country back to it's constitutional roots and rebuild our

industrial base. Screw all these wars. Mostly a waste.

We are energy independent. Our politics is what is in the way of our energy and environmental life. It is what is killing it.

I'm usually an anti-tax person in favor of lowering taxes when possible but I might be for a big raise in tarrifs or taxes on most all imports from China even though some big companies might be against taxing their cheap crap they get from China. We have to be able to hurt China economically, we all know we can't pick up any item in our homes without a "made in China" sticker on it. I guess it's big business and big profits is the reason we buy cheap slave labor products from them instead of paying Americans to make the same stuff, it's just hard to see why China owns much of our debt and controls the manufacturing of products America needs and wants, there's something seriously wrong with that.

I can see what you are saying about Mexico, I always thought they needed a good ol revolution to kick their corrupt government out but revolution winners in South and Central America usually are hard line communists, at least if that happened we would be pretty muched forced to build border fences and fortify the border with military. It would be nice to see Mexicans working in Mexico instead of crossing the border illegally, oil is the only resorce they have pretty much.

I don't just want to be energy independent but I would like to see energy prices at least cut in half, that would be probably a big boost in our economy. I haven't heard the word OPEC in a while or whatever it's called now, It would be great if they wern't in control of what a barrel of oil costs.

Like I said though, it's just a pipe dream right now, there would have to be a big change in our political enviorment.

True, but from completely different motivations. These are cheap definitions, but you get the point.

Communism: dictatorial without any acknowledgment of any religious component in society. State owns and controls everything.

Supposedly utopia is found by everyone being in the same miserable condition.

Islam: hierarchy based on religious teachings and strict adherence to it. I guess one could use the

word dictatorial, but it is based on what some call religion. Allen West used the term "theo-political construct" which might

be a better way to describe it, since there seems to be an excuse for an awful lot of things certain muslims get away with,

while others don't.

Not a whole lot in common. Control, yes, but one is a political ideology and the other, well, whatever you wish to call it. They don't

mix together, nor would they control together. Even if they did, it would only be temporary.

I couldn't or wouldn't live in either situation.
