I'm thinking I'll go with the magnum as well. I haven't been looking but is magnum more readily available the .22lr?

I was at walmart this morning, and they had a pretty good amount of magnums.  I probably would not shoot it much as a plinker, but I think it would be a good truck gun to help control the pet population.

Doesn't really make a damn bit of difference with .22 being so hard to find.

Gotcha, I had forgotten about the issue with the LC9 and never knew you picked up a lite model.

Definetly reasonable complaints and I'd be P.Oed too.

They shipped it to an ffl? They sent my 22/45 back directly to Me.

He said "replacement" gun, not "repaired." I don't believe there is a legal mechanism for a manufacturer to put a new serialized gun in the hands of the end user, without going through an FFL. If it was his same old gun, then it would have gone directly to him. Think about the states that have firearm registration? They could land him in hot water with an unregistered gun shipped straight from the manufacturer.

Mossberg replaced my Plinkster 802 rifle with a new one with different serial number, shipped it to my door.

I love the Rugers I have but I will try to find other makers to fill my needs from now on.

 

Don't go to Remington as your story sounds like my one dealing with them the other day.
