if anyone else was as outraged as I was, when I read the article I was even more so. I got home and checked, yes, there is a pretty hefty amount of outrage around the U.S.

 

Not even going to post it., Just, take a look at Time Magazines cover. Online or whatever.

Bingo. I'm not going to even look this one up. Best case scenario, I'm not outraged. Worst case, my blood pressure starts going up before bed time.

I think every red blooded American should be outraged by the fact that our Terrorist, Extremist Founding Fathers mistakes have been corrected with the proven failure of Socialism, the "Government can think for you" mindset and that one of our most famous mainstream publications (One of the way Americans USED TO communicate the news) has decided that the failures of the 18th through  20th Century United States are now fixed by our new Founding Father, MLK Jr.

 

 

This kinda outrages me too. Althgough I will say my outrage goes along the lines of "oh well, the American people asked for it, or let it happen, hope they are happy". I understand there are more important things to be outraged about than the Socializing of our economy, government takeovers (Bailouts) of big business (Who SHOULD be allowed to fail), the loss of jobs to Foreign nations, the destruction of the US Military, the rise of the welfare state, the handouts to those who do not produce from those who do, the buying of the top political office, the gathering of information authorized by secret courts of every American, those sort of thing's pale in comparison to the question "When will .22 LR start hitting the shelves en masse again?"

 

Because we have 14 months, before the final fate of this country is determined. Even if we win the House and Senate, if the elected politicians have no balls, its not going to matter, its over.

The problem isn't with a single politician, it's with the voters.  We don't hold them responsible.

 

Solution to this entire issue is to get off our asses and start voting out the people that represent their careers and not us.

I agree 1000%, all you have to do is look at the last two elections. I personally don't think we will do any better this time, were looking at maybe 37%. I don't see us taking the Senate, and it will be a miracle, after Boehner, if we even keep the House. I'm hoping for a miracle. You can bet the Dems will be out en masse if the Rep's have to go pick them up in buses and feed them to get them there.

You have a choice when viewing any news source. The news evolved straight from propaganda sources during its inception,

and is still controlled by those same kind who created the genre. Should you be outraged? Maybe, maybe not, but it still means

you have to use your brain to determine the outcome. You have no right to expect to be told the truth from any news outlet.

By design, it is supposed to send you in one direction or another.

 

That's why I laugh to myself when someone quotes an article or video from MSNBC or CNN, as opposed to Fox or a foreign

source. They are always going to be that different. You can't take the spin out of horse crap, regardless of the source. There

are very few consistently honest news sources, to the point of having to absorb a bunch of them and spitting out the rubbish

in buckets before you get a grip on something remotely resembling the truth. Might as well read the comics, and they're just

as bad, sometimes.

Agreed. And the news sways public opinion, one of the major reasons we are headed directly into the jaws of Communism. That and people who don't care to be bothered with it.
