    • Direct Military Intervention? (Such as boots on the ground or airstrikes)
      1
    • Indirect Military Intervention? (Training and Equiping Rebels; Tomahawk Strikes)
      3
    • No Intervention? (Let 'em sort it out on their own)

Obama is so out of touch with what is happening in the world and he has no idea what to do. Egypt is a mess, Syria is a mess, Russian relations a mess, British relations a mess, all countries in South America a mess, Africa a mess and most of all Obama is a mess and looked upon by the entire world as a liar and weakling.

As far as Syria, let them murder each other because that is some we will not have to deal with later.

Obama is only out of touch to you. This is part of his bunch's agenda. All he wants is for America to fall and rebuild to his

Utopian dictatorial state. He has every idea what to do: the wrong thing. Liberalism=death, and complete control of what's

left over until it is all gone. Kinda like what inflation does to money.

I agree with most of what you say, but Obama does not know how to deal with Russia or China regardless of his intentions. His foreign policy is very much a comedy of errors and the idiots that are helping him make decisions are totally out of touch with reality.

His plan is for a socialistic US and he is very intelligent in how he wants this to happen. Obamacare is a prime example. He knows the cost will be astronomical and will force many from their current insurance plans and companies will cut back hours to stay under the 30 hour requirement for insurance coverage. All of this is his plan for total socialized medicine in the US and for the ones being relegated to part time work this is part of his plan for more dependence on welfare. Harry Reid has out right stated he wants fully socialized medicine. Obama does not care about the unemployment figures nor does he care about creating new jobs. Since he cannot be re-elected, he is moving post haste to push his progressive agenda to the max.

No, Obama is not dumb especially about the way he intends to destroy our nation. Our country as we know it is long past and we will never recover from the damage Obama, Reid and Pelosi have done to us. We are in the era that Nikita Khrushchev spoke of years ago where he stated Russia would take us without firing a shot. The only problem is Russia is not the ones over running our country, it is the liberal progressives. We are being destroyed from within. God help us!

I think it is more on the order of what his world view is and his priority to accomplish what you and I agree on, not a matter

of ignorance on his part, though. He is only concerned how Russia and China may aid him without foreign policy knowledge.

He is ignorant, but that is a product of his upbringing, and nothing else. It's all about power and arrogance with him. He

wouldn't dare live the way he expects everyone else to.

Ideology

Oh, he is ignorant on one thing. He has no clue how all of his mess will play out. That's why he has George Soros

and Valerie Jarret telling him what to do.

"Workers of the world unite!" These people have no idea what a can of worms they have been trying to accomplish,

ever since Woodrow Wilson. Really, all they have accomplished is recruit a few Republicans and ruin things for all.

Syria warns that any military strike by the west will be met with a strike on Israel from Assad.

Maybe that's part of the overall plan, let the Jews do the real work, wouldn't put such a subterfuge past BHO's bumbling international expertise.

Of course, it's also a recipe for an escalation with other countries, and perhaps the third offensive nuke in history. And maybe the fourth, and ....

And then there are the prophetic implications, if you were into that sorta thing.

Maybe. Then again, maybe Israel simply gets a LOT bigger. I'm sure Jordon or Lebanon would cede them a corridor to connect if The Big Muscle was flexed. Though they'd have to avoid the contaminated zones for a good while. :)

I just read a story on Infowhores that cites a Reuters poll which puts approval of military intervention at just 9% of the US population. This is in contrast to a 90% approval for the invasion of Astan and 76% approval for the invasion of Iraq. Yet Bush is the big war monger.

Great results from 'Hope and Change' and the Apology Tour.  Cannot believe that O was elected once much less twice.  Sometimes in life doing nothing is the best course of action.

This is basically my position.  I am generally opposed to intervening in other nations' internal problems, however I do think the GLOBAL community has a duty to intervene in cases of especially egregious aggression that violates international law (like the use of chemical weapons against a civilian population).  I think other nations need to pony up more of their resources instead of always looking to the United States.

Maybe nobody should intervene? China has plenty of money and troops. They seem to be in better financial shape than most nations. Let China invade Syria in the name of Human Rights? Great idea? Or maybe China could foot the bill for the Swedes or Dutch to invade Syria? Maybe China could foot the bill for Egypt to invade Syria?

Maybe nobody should intervene? Bad things happen. With or without interventions.

From the link:

How long? Apparently for at least 8 months now.  Isn't it funny how InfoWars is the only place that gets these scoops of info from random anonymous people?  If I were a high level whistleblower, I know that Alex Jones is the first person I would contact.  "Wikileaks, schmikileaks. CNN?  FoxNews? NBC?  BBC?  How about the United Nations? Or maybe a big organization like the International Red Cross, Amnesty International, or the ACLU?  Nah, I'll call the goofy guy who runs an internet conspiracy site.  That'll give me lots more credibility!"

I know this should go without saying, but where is the transcript of this alleged email?  I did a little research and it seems there really is a contractor called Britam Defence and their files were hacked in January 2013.  This site alleges to have looked at the hacked data and states there is one email related to Syria with the following text:

I really wish more people would exercise some level of critical thinking instead of parroting the BS spouted by some alternative media hack that makes a living off the sheep who refuse to question what they are told, especially when that information confirms what they already wanted to believe in the first place.

A hypothetical-- You are teaching a calculus course-- On the final exam, a student gives EXACTLY the correct answer to a hairy complicated problem. However, his submitted calculations are saturated with crazy errors. Do you score the answer correct, because he got the right answer? Or do you score the answer incorrect, because his math doesn't make a lick of sense? Or does he get partial credit? :)

I just read an article today about China's noninterventionalsim despite them having more skin in the game. To sum it up, they figure the oil will keep flowing either way. Why get involved in a situation you can't help or fix?

On another note, Alex Jones is not a credible source. The "broke clock" analogy doesn't apply. Yeah, a broke clock is right twice a day, but it isn't the source I would use to tell time. If he told me the sky was blue I'd go outside to verify for myself.

Am not defending Alex or claiming that any source should be believed. I suspect all "news sources" are broken clocks or at least seriously mis-calibrated. Ferinstance, I keep several calipers and micrometers in order to guestimate the "most probable correct measurement" by comparing one tool against the other. Maybe there is such a thing as truth, but dunno how to validate it. Especially for things far away that I've never seen and will never personally know about.

Still, it is interesting, in retrospect, to score the historical accuracy of broken clocks.

Yep. Alex does lots more harm than good.

In new math he gets an A, partially correct gets an A just signing name is a B.   However he gets an A+ for somewhat correct answer and signing name.

The sad part about this so-called intervention by Obama, if it happens, is that he will be doing al Queda's bidding for them.

He won't accomplish anything, as far as foreign policy goes, and will be pushing the buttons to get Israel to escalate.

Very unstable times if he does any kind of strike on Syria. No-win situation.

In this case the enemy of my enemy is my enemy.  On one hand we have folks who hate us and on the other hand we have folks who hate us, so frick them both.

What changed is now the media is telling the US plans about moving ships into the area to get ready to launch cruise missiles at targets.

in short, the News started telling it almost like it was a 100 percent.  The Media is just itching for another conflict.

All the clocks in the WH and every Obama administrations executive offices have been broken for nearly the last five years, and they don't have a clue as to how to set them correctly much less run the country without destroying it.
