North American Hunting Club <------- That was supposed to be the title.

Is anyone a member?

I got a packet in the mail, but I have no idea how they got my information. It sounds interestung enough, and for only $1/month, how could I go wrong by joining?

So, what say you?

I subscribed last year. The magazine is almost totally advertisements. They started sending me renewal request after about the second month. But the worst thing was; TOTALLY UNSOLICITED, they sent me a book "for my approval". I sent one of the renewals back telling them I didn't care for the magazine and not to send anymore renewal requests. That stopped for a while and they started sending me past due notices for the book. I have totally ignored those. I don't intend to fool with the hassle of returning merchandise I didn't authorize or want to begin with.If I recognize any mail or literature from them, I mark it refused and put it back in the mailbox. This has been mostly successful. In conclusion, when the mags come, I usually toss them.

Your experience might be much better. I guess you could say mine isn't very good.

Did they ever send you any of that "free stuff"? They claim to send you all kinds of free stuff to try out.

Been there done it. Best advice DON"T. The free stuff you get can be gotten from the wal-mart clearence section for fifty cents. And they'll hound the blazes out of you over the books.

I think I got a keyring as a complimentary gift for subscribing.

Sound similar to the NRA. I joined and they started sending me notices to renew three months later. I get mail trying to solicit money at least twice a week.
