Yeah, I was in the gun shop today and asked a bit about the XDm. It's only in .40 right now, but it feels great in my hands.

thats what i thought, i was pretty sure they hadnt released a .45 acp version and was almost certain they didnt have a tactical model as the XDM has a 4.5" barrel for an in between the service and tactical model in the XD line

first clue shoulda been the 2 clips it comes with.....I've never tried loading my xdM with a stripper clip.....but I don't think it'd work

they do have an OD green version coming out though

wait, what do you mean talking about stripper clips??? It sounds like you're saying some semi handguns are loaded with stripper clips????? maybe I've missed something big, but i can't think of anything other than some rifles that can take strippers (strippers...I could take 'em though:p). What does that have to do with being an XD vs. XDM, tactical vs. service, .45 vs. .40???

If you really want to be anal about it... yeah there was a pistol that took stripper clips. The old C96.

I just read the next XDm will be in 9mm -mag will hold 19, +1 in the pipe. Not bad...

No info on whether the stripper clips will be standard or optional. :P

the stripper clip was a joke....since the person in the ad called the mags clips.....sorry for the confusion. to me that is the first sign a gun will be over priced and not well taken care of
