Great FN Scar Deal (or scam) for someone near Clarksville

Without any money changing hands, they won't care.  Did some work with the Cinci location years ago and even with the SA being directly involved, nothing came from it because there wasn't a transaction that took place.

Guess it's different for online interactions and in person; have no clue if that's so or not, maybe one of the legal hounds could explain.

Just seems like with the prospect of firearms being involved it would raise eyebrows enough to get interest. At some point money will change hands though, if it hasn't already. I'm sure they've ripped off plenty of folks so far, so it would seem like this would fit the MO of other online crimes reported to them.

They should be reported to the FBI. I'm sure they keep databases on stuff like this so they can do a link analysis to track down these folks. Surely you haven't been the only one to respond and there are probably some dumb folks that have been ripped off. Every little bit of information matters so even though your report might not yield results, it may help in painting the picture.

They do, and it's not just for firearms, either. I reported an Ebay user about fraud over a laptop purchase. The FBI

referred it to the local PD where the guy lived, a court date and eventually some jail time. Turned out he and another guy

were scamming close to fifty people at the time.

I forgot the link, but I'm sure somewhere on the FBI website it's on there.

How other than what dude here has already been doing? Most if not all of these schemes come from over seas. Predominately, Nigeria. Sent from my mind using ninja telepathy.

I think Russia has their fair share of internet Cons.

This is a load of BS, but to prove it to you I just went to the post office and asked that they send you a scanned copy of the money order with a signature on it.  But this can take up to two weeks.  They are sending it to the address you had me send the money order to.

Never in my life have I been scammed online, and this will not be a successful attempt if that is what you are trying to do.

I'm starting to think you are trying to scam me, you said to send you the money order so I did.  Then to send you the receipt, so I did.  The money order was cashed and now you're claiming that nothing came.

I need to know what is going on immediately.

FOR SALE....NO TRADES

Rarely used FNH Scar 17 FDE. This rifle has only had about 200 rounds ran through it. The weapon comes with a Trijicon 3.5 x 35 ACOG mounted on top. It also comes with a Pelican 1750 case already cut out to fit the rifle perfectly. Also included in this deal is a brand new case of PMC

"I accept money orders or certified checks and will pay for shipping"  Instant red flag on any ad.

May I ask why? Money orders and certified checks are very easy to trace. I've been selling a lot of my things here on TGO in preparation to my move to Florida. Many times I make the statement "will pay for shipping".

Its the wording..

If they rightaways  say they will pay for the shipping or say.."I have a shipper send money to him so he can pick it up".. its a scam. they are not very smart and always use the same angle..

Go to 419eater.com

You will laugh and cry.. lol

New email? Why? Send something to that ad about how already purchased one but haven't received it yet. Ask if they will take care of you better!

Has to be a completely new deal, I want him to go to the grave thinking his partner stole the money.
