what is your favorite product to keep the casting mold from being 'sticky'.  Having some trouble getting the bullets to drop out of the molds freely.  Any favorite 'home brew'?

Candle soot is what I use, I sell it buy the pound, 100 dollars.

You're not making much on it when you factor in the insane amount of time it would take to make a pound.

I will treat any mold sent to me postage paid for $100. :)

I have quit using anything any more. I used to soot my molds but there is no need IMHO. I do take some Flitz and a Q-tip and polish the inside though. Takes about 30 minutes then I clean it real good with Dawn and a toothbrush. I then use more Q-tips to remove any water in the mold to prevent water spots.

Let me guess Lee molds? They can be just enough off center to cause the bullet to hang up.

yes, Lee molds.  But I think I will take RED up on his soot offer.  I trust that it is 'certified' soot and has passed all EPA standards. :surrender:
