You must not be paying attention. They told you to turn of your cell phone. :)

WOWWWW!!! All I can say! Excellent movie! Edited by rugerla1

We went and saw the movie last night...great movie. The individual memorials at the end really choked me up. Saving Private Ryan probably had more emotional moments for me, but this movie ranks right up there with it.

Well I got to see it, all I can say is excellent.  5 stars and two thumbs up!    The theater audience had a long applause at the conclusion.

What an outstanding group of Americans!

Saw it this afternoon and there was a large group of combat vets and their families in the theater also.  Very powerful, especially the credits (make sure to stick around if you can).  Lots of sniffles and applause as the lights came up.

Sitting in the theater right now waiting on it to start. I would venture to say that probably over 80% of the audience is military vets. Read the book when it first came out. Really looking forward to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Went to watch it today at a mantinee time at Turkey Creek, The place was packed. I would give it 5 stars. I'm glad Marcus had a lot of input, and the movie didn't get too hollywoodized.

just saw it too, decided to read the book after the movie... 5 star for sure. hated the fact i knew about the helo getting taken out and how it would end...i want to believe that the comm issue has gotten better, and more common sense is given to roe thoughts. i would have left the herders nytied to the trees and popped smoke based on the 3 options. that flick didnt make me happy. it pissed me off but at least it made more common folk aware of the rigors of the terrain and other crap the troops deal with downrange. thought it was cool they explained pashtu tradition at the end and memorialized some of the guys at the end. def a must see. the weapons were kind of off but worked. the tech advisors prob flinched at wahlbergs ar.... RIP warriors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk, Hell yeah it ate my spelling!!! again!!

Got an idea, you all want to do a TGO movie event with matching O '12 shirts?

Dustbuster, I'm with Daniel, what was wrong with his rifle? Luttrell carried a MK 12 according to his accounts, and while I never got a close look due to the action, it appeared to resemble a MK 12.

Nothing wrong w it except if luttrell was corpsman I'd figure him to have anything but a mark12. I didn't read the book so I'm thinking out loud... If I'm wrong I know someone will educate me
