It was nice to finally get to the reloading bench this morning

Since my reloading area is above my garage and unconditioned I don't usually get to do much during the summer months. It was so cool this morning I was able to get a few hours in to knock out some 223. Was able to load (450) 55 gr training/ range ammo, (250) 62gr tsx and (150)  70 gr tsx.

That will have to hold me for a bit as I get back to brass prep which I can do in my office where it is nice and comfy.

I've been really thankful for a mild summer overall and for a north-facing garage that doesn't get any direct sun. I've only been run out of the garage one or 2 days due to heat so far.

You guys make me jealous!

My setup is in the garage. No AC, but a huge fan that makes it bearable in all but the worst heat. However, this year my main constraint has been time. It's pretty crazy that now, during the amoo craze and tight retail supply, I've been shooting more factory ammo than ever before!

We've got a family trip coming up in a few weeks and we'll be out at the in-laws' "farm" (really just a vacation spot with 160 acres of fields and woods with a nice doublewide in western KY) with nothing to do but shoot stuff for 3 days. I gotta hit the reloading bench hard, and soon!

My reloading room is over the garage, no sheet rock on the ceiling of the garage. 6" insulation between the joist. I found some 3" foam shipping panels that I cut and added. I added a 5,000 btu window unit. It's cold enough now to keep my wife out.
