Actually, I'm not an expert in such matters but I don't believe the federal government, has much and maybe nothing to say in such things...it woudl be each individual state that would have the power (but I would need to read up on it to be sure).

My point is that the 'puppet masters' will still be working behind the curtains.  They will make sure, maybe not out in the open, that delegates that fit the party platforms are included.  I would be scared to death on what could be decided and incorporated into a new revised 'better' constitution.

No it did not - nor did it say we don't care, or, we care less or frankly anything about caring. It did have lots if literature about the Constitution though.

Well according to the fool in the WH the Republicans hate everything, don't have a plan, want everyone to suffer and want to cut funding to everything just and good, they're/we're racists too.

So like Punisher said, they basically sit on their hands and take the tongue lashing, meanwhile dumb and dumber watching MSNBC are spoon feed nothing else. So, it surprises me that they even had a booth, it wouldn't surprise me if the Dems set one up just to slander Republicans.

Glad to know, at least in Wilson Co. that they had a copy of the Constitution to pass out. Lamar and Bob gonna show up? They need a copy.

We got into the mess because those whom we elected got outsmarted and allowed them to ruin the Constitution.  Some of you don't go with this amendment strategy because you think they'll outsmart us and ruin the Constitution.  So then, where do we go from here to keep them from ruining the Constitution?

.

Currently, we still enjoy the privilege of voting, and only a united voting movement can alter the direction our nation is heading. But I don't believe there is enough people that care about uniting together to turn the ship around before it goes over the cliff.

I think the control freaks are already prepared, just sitting back waiting for such an event. Our government can't write even simple bills in a way that makes sense.....I think this whole idea will end in disaster if we start down that road. The link I posted might be propaganda, but is it worth the risk even if the chance of something like the following might roll out of this?

Not in my book.

BINGO.....

Again, Levin is not talking about a constitutional convention.  It's representatives of state legislatures convening to propose, debate, vote upon and approve or reject amendments which will have immediate effect upon the constitution.  Congress, the president or the Supreme Court have no jurisdiction in this matter.  It only requires notification to Congress that the states will convene.  If we can't find or trust anyone to assume a leadership position for the people's good, how will we stop this monstrous juggernaut of a socialistic government that we have now, short of rag-tag, disorganized squads of pseudo-militiamen going up against a highly trained, equipped and organized superior force?  And who are you going to trust as officers to lead this second revolution?

Americans were facing the same dilemma after the Revolutionary War.  Only 1/3 of the citizenry actually took part in the fight.  The rest were Tories or other sideline sitters.  But the framers of the Constitution and government got it done because it HAD to be done.  If we call ourselves constitutionalists, why don't we use the Constitution and every available provision left to us before we get into something that will be a lot harder to overcome?

Please read gun sane's post - I think people aren't understanding what is actually being proposed here.

Your signature says that the 2014 vote could be the most important this country has ever known...I say expecting anything to change at the federal level through the ballot box is a lost cause. Something as dramatic as what Mark Levin is proposing may be the very last thing that can be done before the socialist takeover of the country is complete except for the dust settling.
