I'm not tank savvy so this might be a stupid question. Is that long green colored piece attached to the right side of the turret a towing strap?


Yes, they're about 1.5" cables, takes two though... Have seen a few of them break when only one was on and they were in a hurry.

Never seen one break but know they have on occasion. But did see an 88 lift cable fray and snap nearly taking someones head off. They knew the cable was fraying, had someone look at it and decided it was OK to lift the front slope up to take pressure off the comp idler arm. (Changing comp idler arm). I heard that gunshot sound and took off running. Didnt even look, just headed for the back of the 88. Close for one guy (Driver of the 88) but no one got hurt.
