Rifle reloading newbe

Recommended Posts

Posted

I've reloaded handgun ammo off and on for a few years and I'm starting to load for a couple of my rifles. The question I have is at the case mouth I have some shaved copper jacket. What did I do wrong and how do I correct ? All helpful information will be appreciated. :stunned:

CHAMFER, CHAMFER, CHAMFER, all rifle cases, I tried to turn a few cases inside out, no lie, pushed the neck down into

the case.

Thanks for the information. It works much better now. I do need to camfer just a little more but all in all not looking like I peeled a banana. Just to throw this out before I post anyone here willing to trade some Hodgdon HS-7 for  imr 4350? I'll be posting in the trade with my other post in the next day or so. Thanks again for the help.
