All you Tavor owners, I heard a rumor......

It is true.  IWI has posted on bullpupforumn.com that it is in the works but I don't expect it any time soon.  The 9mm and 5.45 conversions haven't hit the market yet and they are the first ones that are suppose to be out then the 300 and .22.

The Tavor may finally be the bullpup that pushes me over the edge and gets me to buy one... if the prices ever come down a bit.

Agreed. Bullpups have never held any interest for me before, but the Tavor has be intrigued.

The Tavor intrigues me as well but what makes it a $2,000 rifle?

I'm speculating that it's demand for a short OAL rifle without tax stamp, and without loss of barrel length.

That is interestin'. If I could get a real accurate barrel. The KelTec RFB is another that has my interest, too, 'cept it's .308 NATO with good accuracy usin' the right ammo.

Yea, but other than that what's it got? :)

Right now, it's the people lined up waiting to pay $2,000.... hopefully that will slow down, and prices will come down a bit.

Today, I finally got the Tavor "18 black to the range, and was very impressed with it using a Leupold VX-R 1x4 Firedot Circle scope. After getting the scope zeroed I was shooting close around, and on the red dot in the target at 100 yds. Trigger was not like what I had been hearing, and recoil was minimal. Great rifle feel, and no problems feeding firing 120 rds. using Hornady Steelmatch 75 gr, XM855 62gr. and Independence 55 gr. This Bullpup is a winner, and I'm really happy with it.

Finally took my tavor to gallatin today and so did another member!

Really nice rifle - easy to shoot offhand and still nail 100yard targets. The trigger is a standard military 2 stage trigger - first stage - pick up the slack to tension point and them boom on second stage. It's not a superstar trigger but its more than adequate for the job
