I will make an appearance also! I want to put a few rounds through my Hindu cow killer. :D I will get a chance to meet XD and all of you middle Tn. shooters :P

Tower, had I known this I would have doubled my effort to be there. As was we spent the morning running errands and cleaning up around the house. Both of which needed to be done pretty badly, but I would have loved to have put a face with a name, shaken hands and put some rounds down range together.

Soon perhaps!

The TGO Shoot was attended by around 15 persons and a wide variety of firearms. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and put a face with a name and avatar.

Thanks to Towerclimber for letting me shoot that monster 410 pistol!

Thanks to JasonF for driving!

I think almost everyone there got to shoot my .22 LR AR-15.

I have posted pictures in an album under my name here on TGO.

Thanks and see you all next month.

I had a great time as well. It was good to meet those I haven't met before and see familiar faces again. Schmootika, thanks for letting me shoot the Saiga. Loki, thanks for showing me how to turn money into noise with almost autofire. Coop, thanks for letting me run your AR 22LR and keeping me hydrated. Jason, thanks for driving. Tower, thanks for letting me shoot the 410 revolver. That was cool. It was a good day spent with all. Hope to see you all next time.

Keep practicing Shima. That little Russian girl of yours should bump fire well. I know the Saiga is a lot easier and smoother than my Romy.

But you can just see the dollar signs coming out of the barrel when you do it!

Regarding bump-fire...

Guys please be aware that Owl Hollow Gun Club has asked everyone to limit their rapid / auto firing sequences and to maintain strict control over their firearm when they are doing so. Bump firing is typically not something you can do while maintaining proper aim, and is something you may end up having a Range Safety Officer crack down on.

The OHGC members who are acting as "sponsors" of TGO guests could be held accountable if someone complains, and ultimately it could lead to OHGC forbidding organized TGO meet and greets out there.

By now I think we've all seen plenty of examples of bump firing and the novelty should be wearing off. From now on I'm requesting that TGO members not do this. If we don't police ourselves, we can expect OHGC to end up policing us.

Thanks.

I'm an Owl Hollow member, I couldn't make it for the meet but I did shoot after 5:00 on Saturday. There were a lot of shotgun shells in the small pistol pit. As members we are asked to pick up shotgun shells. Not sure if it was TGO or OHGC members who left them, but the range officer Saturday night picked them up. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks.

Glad everyone had a good time. Wish I could've made it.

Gotcha Tungsten. It IS fun, but too expensive, and if it makes you feel better, all bump-fire (At least by me) was in the pistol pit, 3 to 5 rounds, and pretty controlled. I don't do the belt-loop trick thing, I can bump fire from the shoulder.

But no more at OH, don't want to cause any problems!
