It will take me awhile to catch up to you. I still don't have anything that will lop the head off a cow :)

 

I'm close to done with the Spydies. Nothing else really lights me up, except for maybe the Police.

Congrats....probably my favorite edc. I got lucky and found a camo/black and a black/satin in stock a couple months ago.

Yes, they are. I really like the lock design. May be the strongest thing out there.

Knife center will let you preorder it. It took me a month to the day between preorder and when it shipped. BladeHq had some last week, but they're long gone now. I would just do the preorder.

Mike:  I'm gonna do a real bad thing.  You REALLY NEED a military to go with your paramilitary.  I've been carryin one for the last few weeks in place of my ZT 200.   I bought mine from knifecenter (...i think...) its a left handed one and they had 'em on sale.  Remember, you really need one.  Think of 'em as an upgraded endura (...4 inch blade....).

Since you've got the Military, you aren't really missing anything in the Police Model except a blade that's .25" past legal. I don't think they're putting the false edge on the spine anymore. I guess you can probably still get one of the old all stainless versions - it's certainly a classic. But, we're I going to get one today it would be one of the G-10 variants.

That said, the Police Model inspired Ulize they put out last year sure is pretty.

And, you need at least one Rescue in the collection. It's what put them on the map.

I like the Ulize, but am shying away from any more recurves. Being a Ken Onion fan, I'll wind up with a few more anyway.
