I was able to trade even for my Ruger LCR 357Mag with a Gen 2 G19 . I am really happy . To me it means true Tenifer , true Glock perfection and no stupid finger grooves. Here she is .

Man the G19 Gen 2  is the 3rd in line for me of the Holy Grail . The first and second are the Gen 1 G17 and the Gen 2 G17 . Here is a pic of her ....

Wow who the heck would make that trade?? Maybe it was stolen and he had to ditch it lol

Congrats on the even trade. If there was a Holy Grail list for Glock, why not an 18?

Great trade for a Gen 2 Classic!

No light rail! No finger grooves! Flat no-slick finish! Looks to be in great condition.

Well done!

Thanks dude ! I love the flat finsih look and the no finger groove grip. Plus the old style "true" Tenifer doesnt rust PERIOD ! The new metal treatment does rust some.

I fired a a Glock today for the first time ever, and it was a 17.
I shot it a whole lot better than what I can do with my 92. I'm going to have to seriously think about becoming a Glock owner.

Me.  in a heartbeat.  Well, that is if for some reason I had a Glock in the first place.  But then, I like wheelguns better than semiautos and am not a fan of Glocks, at all.  Nothing to do with the quality, etc. I just don't like them.

Congrats to the OP, however, on getting a gun you wanted and that you like better - not to mention one of your 'Holy Grail' guns..  If we all liked the same things then 'LGS' would stand for 'Local Glock Store' instead of 'Local Gun Store.'

I have a gen 2 19 AND a Ruger LCR. I don't think I'd get rid of either one but if you're happy with the deal that's all that matters.

Both are fine guns.

I agree. I have a gen 3 19 and a gen 3 26 along with a LCR in 38spl. I switch off between the 26 & the LCR as my carry guns. I would say the OP's trade was a good one as far as being fair both ways. :2cents:
