Oh. I'll tell him to forget about them, if that's the case.;)

Come on...he doesnt want to pay way more than he should for an already overpriced and then rebranded Bushmaster?

Opps....I meant to say "these things are awesome! come buy them because they are the best featured and priced rifles available"

 I just thought I'd ask around a bit. He's the type that will spend months researching berfore a purchase. I honestly haven't heard of them until we were talking about my AR build.

Actually the R-25 is a rebranded DPMS, ck out the magazine SR 25-type, not FAL-type.

I hope they do really well, Barfcommers and Metoo4carbiners be damned.

The more "normal" gun people we get involved the better. There will be alot more resistance to any new gun ban if Hussein comes after Joe Six-packs coyote/deer rifle than just the tacticool zombie hunters.

I wish we (gun people/and manufacturer's) would not be so childishly elitist and constantly trying to point out the "flaws" in everyone elses choice/product and focus more on trying to get more people involved in shooting. I wish all the people that have been scared away from getting into guns just because that couldn't afford that latest whizz bang uber cool brand/type/etc of weapon of the week had been given good solid advice and maybe taken out on a range and shown how much fun it is to shoot. Instead of worrying that their bolts are going to fail, their gun will blow up, they will shoot themselves in the butt, their weapon will jam unless they buy unobtanium MkII for 3x the cost.

But it is really late (early actually) and I need to make my wife wake up and stop sleeping on our not so tactical couch.

Yep. My bad. You are 100% correct on the DPMS-25.

So does this mean that Hero Gear isn't the veryest mostest uberest tacticalist?

Que? :screwy:

Are you saying that because at midnight last night (while paying more attention to the Olympics than TGO) I made a simple mistake (I knew the R25 was a DPMS, I have played with it and knew very well its a LR308) when focusing on the R15, that now we dont know what we are talking about? :koolaid:

And to answer your question in another way; I dont think we have ever claimed to be "veryest mostest uberest tacticalist" as you say, but I will say we are a pretty damn good shop, and not only do we have an amazing black rifle inventory and understanding, we work hard to help and server our many customers interested in this type of firearm.

I dont know if your post was meant to be funny or a jab at us.

Either way, give me a break.

I think that we owe a big round of applause to our newest, bestest buddy, and big toe... Joe at Hero Gear.
