The wood is beautiful, I just prefer synthetic stocks. To each his own. :up:

I purchased a Loaded M1A with synthetic stock several years ago.  My next M1A will have a wood stock.

M1A Socom 16 was my first "Election Gun."

 

It is the basis for my modest armory.

You know, as much as I'm wanting an M1A full size with a wood stock, 5hat Socom 16 would be a nasty hog gun.

Love these rifles,. Been wanting one for a long time but for me, just cannot justify the cost for how much I would shoot it. Everywhere I look minimum 1200 and some places 1600 (Depending on the options). Im always searching for them on gunbroker, but price is always too high.

You might get more takers offering the right one... Just sayin.

But really, sorry your in a cash pinch, sucks to have to sell something you love but its just stuff. After 6 months you can reevaluate the situation and either buy another or just keep the cash handy for something else.
