planning another trip to Nashville soon

So, I am going to visit Nashville again soon.

My plan, I am going to be loose on Broadway.  Yes I know tourist trap.

On my plan, I plan to spend some time in Tootsies as usual.  Yes, I know the most expensive beer I have ever drunk I believe.

However I am planning to bar hop a bit this time and spend some time in some other places

Anyone been to any of the following and how would you rate them.

Brew House

Whiskey Bent Saloon

and maybe The Stage

Been to Legends Corner and wasn't impressed.

Not planning on The Wheel, as I believe it is a smoking place.  Too much Smoke affects my breathing.  Nothing against smokers.

Probably going to eat at the Brew House, online menu's seem reasonable.

Thinking about checking out the Whiskey Bent Saloon and maybe The Stage

Pretty much, what I am looking for is live music(country but a mix is fine), fun and lively places.

I know some will say Jacks and Rippys but I am not much into bar-b-que believe it or not.  Normally I am just as happy with a good burger or steak.

In short, I want to break out of my pattern of only going to Tootsies and try a couple other places.

Might not be quite what your looking for but Margaritaville is a good visit IMO.
Everyone talks about Tootsies,I never go there it seems, instead hop among the small bars usually.

I got a buddy that works at honkey tonk central. It's supposed to be the place to be if you're into that kinda stuff.

Depending on what day you're at The Stage, check out The Chris Weaver Band. They play there a lot and are worth a good listen.

What days will you be here?  A lot of people overlook the free Thursday night concerts at dave & busters and some of those have been pretty kick ass this year

It is going to be a Saturday though the evening.

I did Margaritaville last time. It was fun but not really my thing.  I did that for my wife.

I will have to look up Honkey Tonk central, thanks

Robert's Western World.

Also check out The Listening Room Cafe and Station Inn for less party and more focus on the music.

The Brewhouse has great food.

If you will be downtown in the afternoon, you have to stop in for dinner at Demo's, cheap italian food and it is good.   right downtown near all the bars

You should visit the flying saucer for some beer and good food.

Would agree on the beer, but their food has went down hill over the past couple of years. We used to eat lunch there at least once a week, but stopped a while back.

Varallo's Chili Parlor for lunch. Not open for dinner.
Arnold's Country Kitchen for a meat-n-three fix. Open for breakfast and dinner.

Forgot all about Varallo's, that place is really good.

Broadway Brewhouse has good food and a lot of beers to choose from. Flying Saucer probably has more, but I second the above opinion on its food.

As far as another cool place for music, I like the Big Bang. Dueling piano bar above Paradise Park. On the opposite side of the street from The Stage and etc.

Is the Big Bang posted? Wife thinking of going with a friend this weekend and wants to know. Hate for her to get to the door and have to walk away.
