yea, some would like to see it fully implemented no matter what the cost but within 9 days, signatures went from 86K to 268K.

Word is slowly getting around.

Meanwhile Congress gets an exemption -  http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/08/07/usa-health-congress-idUSL1N0G820F20130807?feedType=RSS&feedName=rbssHealthcareNews&rpc=22

going up quickly, has went up 1000 people since I posted the thread.  It was on Breitbart, once it hits the drudge and blaze, it'll start moving at full steam.  Just needs to be dispersed on the forums

hopefully it gets reposted another dozen times or so. :)

Then I'll say it again, the only lever to "do" it is government shutdown, and if that happens, GOP will lose seats in House just like last time, will have no chance to win the Senate, and might as well not even field a presidential candidate in '16.

After the last two election fiascos by the R's, I don't think it will matter who the R's field as a presidential candidate. But, I will support Ted Cruz for the presidential candidate.

I'd give him 10 states against Hillary. Tops.

That would mean that most gun owners would want their guns confiscated, and everybody else would knowingly or unknowingly be an accomplice for the country to go over the cliff.

I'd say a lot more, he hasn't been pushed into the light yet... Once he does I think he'll take off pretty good because of the way he addresses issues. Especially with the ones who wouldn't get off the couch for romney

Did you notice that Obama won twice, even with the significant level of discontent after his first term?

Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public. Unless things change beau coup for the worse, enough to really hammer the low information voters (most of whom think guns are evil anyway), the US electorate is just not going for an uber Conservative.

I think the only reason Romney got the level he did was because of Obama disgruntlement.

I admit it's possible that Mitt was simply not seen as all that different from Obama though, and that a true Conservative could have done better, but I don't think so. I think it was just that Mitt wasn't likeable. Seriously. And besides his actual politics,  a lot of people aren't going to "like" Joe McCarthy (I mean, Ted Cruz). :)

Ted Cruz is a breath of fresh air among the corruptible politicians that have s### for brains and want to destroy America. We need more politicians like Cruz who will call a spade a spade, and not bow to establishment power.

In Joe McCarthy's time there wouldn't be no stinking pinko commies running our country. I miss Ole Joe, and I'm glad Ted Cruz is a Senator that has balls. Edited by ThePunisher

Wow, amazing how you and I, about same age, can see things so differently. I see the HUAC proceedings as among the most shameful in our legislative history.
