I can't imagine how good that must feel. I still got a ways to go on my house, but we add on a bit to the payments to knock down the principle. I just found out that my in laws, who recently retired and have lived in the same house for 40 years, are nowhere near owning it. There is a valuable lesson there.

I have to give thanks and cudos to my father in law for helping us make the first 3 years payments on our first house , his son owns it now and is like a brother to me , I did his homework for drafting while he was in high school. I found a great family and friends in my 34 year marriage. I hope the same luck to all members.

True , unless it's a gun you must have and can't live without ; don't buy it , find a deal then do it !

That can actually happen. Ask the Germans. Paper not even worth its weight in paper.

Something interesting I heard on the radio a few weeks ago. I thought I had heard it all on FDR. A writer (Fiction) wrote a non fiction based book. Part of it had to do with the collapse of the International Economy. According to this writer, there has been in place, a law, since the 1930's, that would allow all Governments, in the event of an International Monetary Collapse, to put in place an International currency. According to this wroter, whos name I cannot remember, this was part of the cartel plan that formed the Fed. The name Federal Reserve was used because they had tried to put together a Federal Bank twice before, but it was shot down, so Federal Reserve gave it legitimacy. Apparently they proposed all sorts of laws that were eventually signed into law by FDR. One being this global currency law that according to this writer, has been discussed at high levels recently because it may be needed.

Someone else may be able to find what he was talking about, I couldnt.
