The United States has accumulated over $70 trillion in unreported debt, an amount nearly six times the declared figure, according to a new study by University of California-San Diego economics Professor James Hamilton.

broke for several decades, now.

Just wait until interest rates rise back to their normal levels...when that happens we won't have enough revenues to even service our debt (assuming anyone would continue accepting dollars as payment).

Just look at the deception and trickery they use to calculate the inflation rate as one example to make them look better, not to mention the cost of living index!

 

Ever notice the things critical / essential to life everyone needs / uses they don't include to calculate inflation? You'll never see food, fuel, medical insurance, taxes, etc.

 

They use cars, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators and other luxuries, not the essentials in life.
