I spent some time in the forge today, Ill be there all week getting ready for the upcoming gunshow.

I made two small edc fixed blades. These were designed to be small utility knives, and if push comes to shove, work as self defense shivs. Both are made from 1095 Nichlson files.

#1 2.75" blade, 5.5" overall. Flat ground, hand forged. Razor sharp edge, paracord wrapped handle

Then I decided to do something a little different. I didn't know if I was gonna like this or not. It has some hard angles, but I think I definitely like it.

5160 steel, hand forged. Flat ground. 6.5" blade, 11.25" overall. 5/16th thick. Paracord wrapped handle

Woah! The first two look freaking fantastic! Very uniform, proffetional looking pieces. Just awesome!

The last one however looks terrible. You should send it to me right away to ensure that it does not tarnish your reputation. :)

All kidding aside, that last one has a very cool unique look that I am seriously loving. Great utility design that has probably the perfect shape for many tasks that a regular blade would fall short on. Plus the handle looks really comfy.

Great work bro, those should fly off the table at any gun show.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It feels good to be forging again, work has been pretty overwhelming here lately, so a chance to beat steel is nice. A week straight is even better.

Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Awesome work brother! I'm really digging that first one, a very eye-pleasing design.

Number three looks unique, I like it too.

Hell, I like all three.

I like that your knives are starting to have a more defined plunge line and ricasso.

Well today was another productive day. Tried a couple of new designs, let me know what you think.

Chisel tipped sharpened pry bar. This is a design that is geared towards ultimate tip strength and utility. Extremely hard to get the grinds right the way my little grinder is setup, thought the lighting make them look worse then they are.. I may still do more to this one.

5160, 5/16th" thick. 3" blade, 6.75 overall length.

Clip point fighter, utility. Still needs the handle wrapped. 5/16th 5160 steel. 5.5" blade, 10.5" overall.
