Well, how did the first day go?

Went decent. Didnt sell any blades. Did trade with dlm for some powder wc846 for .223 loads I did sell two lowers with Fighting Sheep Dog, I think we sold 7 stripped lowers total yesterday. I saw 7.62 x 39 advertised for $280 for 1k rds. Dont know the brand. I have also determined that I need an HK g3 pattern battle rifle badly lol.

The show look decent to me.  I was looking for some 10mm Hydra Shocks or equivalent, but found 20 year old Winchester Black Talon unopened from a private seller for my 10mm instead at better pricing than anyone on any new Federal, Remington or Hornady 10mm hollow points.   I was pleased.

Well from a selling stand point the show was a bust for me. Only knife I moved went to dlm for some reloading powder in trade. From a fun stand point, it was great. I got to talk to a lot of people and see some cool stuff. At one point, Rachel from Fighting Sheep dog, the store I was working with, commented that it was like being with a celebrity lol. The TGO crowd was out and lots of guys from here stopped by to say hi, which was super cool in itself. I can't remember everyone by name, but thank you to each and every TGOer who came by to chat and see my old ugly mug. You guys really made the show great. Well that, and the guy who had on a shirt that said "Not only am I a great marksman, Im also a chick magnet" and his fly was down the whole show today. Lol

I stopped at the show today on my way to Bristol. I'm thinking, I wasted my admittance fee. But on the way back to the car I found a fellow willing to sell Wolf primers for 22 a pack and powder for 19 per pound. 5 #  was 17 per pound and 8 # was 16 per pound. I emptied my wallet but plan to meet with him tuesday on the way home.

I stopped at Larry's house on the way home the other day. He asked if I mind cutting his yard for him, he would make it worth my while. That little bit of work paid off for that old man. He offered me anything I wanted for half price. When we left the kids were packed in the back seat with their luggage and the trunk was packed tight. My wife had her feet on 4 boxes of primers.
