O.....................M.....................G!   How long before SOMEONE (Since I cant figure out if a lefty of a Conservative would do this).....goes off the deep end after seeing this. This is the greatest JHS play of ALL FRICKEN TIME.

For those who would say that having a bunch of kids play actors playing meth dealing, murdering drug lords. NO ITS NOT! This is the greatest display of 1st Amendment protected Free Speech I have seen in 40 years.

Whoever thought this was a good idea, is either the dumbest group of adults on the planet or have cajones the size of watermelons. This is a definite "In your face" production. Not a damn thing they can do about it either.

I predict they will be all over the news soon with the whiny azz left talking about "Kids in a play about meth and drug dealing murderers.

Scale of 1-5 stars, I give this production 10 million.

A+ for creative, zero for product value, zero for having kids doing anything with meth, zero for usefulness, a+for stupid and a guarantee, one of those kids will try meth or fall victim to it as a result of being curious of what it really is. i wish u wouldnt have posted that, poor taste, and that comes from me,someone w a sense ofhumor.

If u knew what meth does to people, and what they do as a result,u would consider cancer an equal cause as much as u fight it it keeps coming back........like meth

Dust, I see that as "One of the kids will do meth because they were in a play about a TV series of drug dealers" about the same as "One of the kids will become a mass murderer because they were in a play about Vietnam"

Its about parenting and choice, not about plays.

And I know what meth does to people, I have a brother serving a well deserved 36 year sentence right now, because of HIS CHOICES.

+1. Non issue IMO. (The play, not meth) I would be concerned with my kids (who don't exist btw) going through the D.A.R.E program than acting in a play.

I never believed it to be a real school musical. Any teacher pulling a stunt like that would be fired w permanent career destruction.Sorry guys. Anything that shows a positive side of meth is bad. What they don't show on breaking bad is the burn victims, the children subjected to sexual exploitation, chemical burns, starvation, asphyxiation and more. The genius that put this pos together could probably be indicted for a handful of charges... This debacle is in taste beyond disgusting when posted publicly. It would be diff if Saturday night live ran a spoof on b bad geared toward adults over 18 but I draw the line over using minor children to act out rhe production of meth amd glamorizing the lifestyle.I actually wish the mod would kill this thread. We're firearms owners not to be confused w being passionate over illegal drug manufacturing.. I get the Vietnam idea but knowing most people claim drug experimentation starts through curiosity and peer pressure reiterates a difference. I'm pretty liberal about a lot of things. I'm not liberal over minors being placed into any position where they should think drug use is entertaining.. Edited by Dustbuster

Hey, what they also dont show is the future meth addict, clean, voluntarily placing meth and other drugs into her/his body. I have no pity for someone who would voluntarily destroy themselves and attempt to take others down with them, as they always seem to do.

Want to see drug glamorization, dont need Breaking Bad, Look around nearly any small town in the US today. Know who did it? The users did it.

I haven't seen too much glamorization of drug use or production in BB. In fact unless you consider the depiction of the lucrative nature of the distribution business as glamorous, the show is decidedly unglamorous in its storyline. The show has depicted the fall of, if not a good man, at least a decent man into a monster.

You have watched the show, right? It lays out pretty clear the destructive nature of meth and other drugs. If you tallied up all the characters from each season you would see that the majority of them are dead by now. The main character's life has been ruined due to greed, when his original motives were simply taking care of his family. There is nothing glamorous about the use, dealing or manufacturing of meth on this show. It is, however, a great story line.

Lol, glamorous? Like Badger and Skinny Pete? There is zero glamour on the show...like really...even the dealers can't live it up for fear of having to explain where the money came from.

I've watched b bad, up to the latest season.the main characters that survive are mostly glamorized., or made to look cool in the eyes of a minor, after all bad is supposedly cool in today's society. Dumb asses copy crap they see on tv with good and ill intent. Children are young and impressionable.
If someone thinks it's ok for adults to exploit miinor children to portray meth cooks, gang bangers and someone who uses academic skills ( like a chemistry teacher) to create a bad drug,it tells me that person is ok w child porn, beastiality, and probably find exploitation of minors amusing. I don't. I find humor in many things, but I draw the line when it comes to promoting or demonstrating bad behavior using minors. If the actors on the tube video were adults made to look young so be it. I hope someone slaps the tube w an order to take it down. Kids re enacting a lifestyle of violence and drug dealing isn't the American way either..
Wtf.....

What the fuck indeed. That is quite the leap in logic there bud. I guess when I was a kid and we played cowboys and Indians with the cap guns our parents got us they were really teaching us that killing and genocide were okay. I'll be sure to report my parents to The Hague right away.

Um big difference between cowboys and Indians vs meth cooks and cops...

Big difference between a YouTube play and child pornography, beastiality, etc.

I'm gonna have to side with TMF on this. While I can appreciate the view on kids and meth... comparing this to sex with a sheep is a bit of a stretch. Hate it for what it is, not for what it isn't.

Promoting both censorship and the American way in one breath. Call me impressed.

I'm not sure what the hell you are talking about.

If by "glamourized" you mean made to be "pitiable" or "dispicable", then perhaps you have a point, but you also have a very different definition of "glamour" from the rest of us.

There is no glamour to driving a Pontiac Aztec or a 20 year old Jeep Wagoneer.

You forgot about Jessie's 1984 Toyota Tercel. Maybe that's the glamorous part.

Hell yeah! That thing was rad! Especially with that boss sound system.

To be fair, there is some glamorousness shown in the show. Jessie has a big screen TV, giant stereo, X-Box, etc. He bought is grandmas' house with cash. Walt does come off as a badass when he's Heisenberg and he bought Jr. a new Challenger. The Mexican cartel boss has the house, pool, and ladies.

But it's very clear that none of the "stuff" makes either one of them happy. Jessie lost his girlfriend and best friend Combo, then had to push away his latest girlfriend and her kid for their own safety. He's estranged from his parents and doesn't get to see his sister. Except for Walt who is increasingly unstable, Jessie is all alone. Even Skinny Pete and Badger aren't big factors in his life any longer. He started to get along with Mike, only to have Mike tell him he's worthless, then be killed.

Gus killed the cartel boss, so fat lot of good the house, pool, and ladies did for him.

Yeah...I think I'll start cooking up some blue candy 'cause that sounds like the life I want.
