Police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early today after the suspect chased and shot at another man, then refused to drop his gun, police said.

Interesting. EXACT same thing happened about 6 months ago. 14 or 15 year old I believe. Same place too. Two plainclothes detectives get out of their car to investigate a complaint of a bunch of "kids" and one "good boy" pulled out a revolver and pointed it at a cop. Believe it was a .357. "good boy" got himself dead. Family and friends protested and caused riots.

It's a cover up according to his aunt. The cops drug him out of his bed at 3 in the morning stuck a gun in his hand and told him to stand in the middle of the street. Then shot him. The other story of him shooting a 15 year old was a set up too.

I guess they will have to post some baby pictures to show how sweet he was.

It's possible to do a one shot take down these days, after a few incidents where 40+ rnds were expended and there was only 2-5 hits and since they can only have 7 rnd mags now, NYPD implemented a better train up to improve marksmanship..  :wave:

I've noticed the media seldom relates many crimes as gang related or they were members of a street gang unless it's obvious. I wonder why that is? Not saying this was the case just an observation I've noticed for years.

 

Another thing that is undeniable is the police, mayors and local government officials are all to slow to admit there is a gang problem until they are asking for funds to set up a task force or ask for state / federal assistance when it's too late.

 

I was amazed when I did some research and discovered they're hundreds of different gangs and sets numbering more than the U.S. prison population. And they are located in Anytown U.S.A.

In a town with a stop and frisk law a boy of 14 or 15 is arrested for shooting another teenager and he is back on the streets to do it again within weeks/days/hours. Where is the outrage from the race baiters? I guess the NYPD should be given a check for the funds the Feds will save on a lifetime of support for this well adjusted youth. Sorta like they do with the funds taken from drug dealers. A portion is kept by the Dept. that made the bust.

Because admitting to a gang problem is bad business.  Drives off growth, decreases property value and taxes, etc...Really not about taking care of the citizens but about generating taxes.

This is a huge part of the problem.

A friend of mine just yesterday had a similar encounter with a "my baby didn't do nuffin mother", except that the mother explicitly stated right to my friends face, that because my friend was a white woman, that her kid was allowed to victimize her.

It's upset her so bad that she's decided to sell her house & move out into the country, where there is no diversity to deal with ...
