Benchmade Osborne Mini Barrage

Recommended Posts

Just got one this week. I like this knife so far. The Osborne Mini Barrage is spring assisted, has a sleek locking mechanism, opens crisply and with little recoil, and is just an overall nice knife as of the time being. As far as spring assisted knives go, I rank it high above both kershaws I've owned as far as quality goes, but the Leek is still the best value where money is concerned (at less than half the price).

I will update if any of this changes.

Update!

After a few months of this as my EDC, I doubt I will go back to a Kershaw even though the price point is great. This knife just seems far superior as far as quality goes. Another plus is that I rarely use the locking function and have never had an accidental deployment ever... didn't have that luck with either of my Kershaws (never pleasant if you have ever experienced a deployment with you hand in your knife pocket!).

Another note, found the Kershaw Leek that was my previous EDC.... and the locking mechanism finally broke....
