Revolver Grips from Thailand

Found these grips on e-bay for around $40...don't know what kind of wood they are, but looks sort of like the Cocabola Ahrends on one of my other guns.  The seller's name is Jauwan and it took 2 to 3 weeks for them to get from Bangkok, Thailand to Knoxville, TN USA.  Anyway, this guy must have some modern machinery because they fit perfectly on the Ruger frame.  The round butt keeps the 3" GP100 in a good shape for carry, but these things wrap around the backstrap and fit my big paws very nicely.  If you are looking for some nice grips that don't cost a fortune, look at this guy's stuff on e-bay...I think he did a good job on them.  Best wishes, B

I wish I could go back there and pick some up in person. It was a great tour of duty.

The seller's name is Jauwan....

"jaruwan.p" actually, in case anyone couldn't find him.

I'm glad you posted, looking at his ads, I see along with the other firearms related changes on eBay about a year ago, they now allow pix of actual guns when selling parts/accessories.

I have ordered 4 sets from these guys (S&W 66, Taurus 605, Taurus 99 and ruger mk). All fit very well. Finish isn't perfect, but they clean up well. The checkered grips are very nice too.

I had a set of these on my SP101, nice grips but mine would loosen after a few rounds, should have tried some blue locktite I guess. They really looked nice.

I bought a set of wood grips for my CZ P-01 from him about a year ago. The fit wasn't perfect (uneven at the bottom and a gap on one side), so I sent him pics and asked to return them and let him clean them up some.

He straight up REFUSED. He just apologized very nicely, refunded my money, and told me to keep the grips. I tried to say no and asked for only a small discount, but he wouldn't have any part of it. That's a man that wants to please his customers. I hope he gets rich selling grips on eBay. A nice, honest man like that deserves it.
