Sounds about right. One thing I like about glocks though is you can always find a good used one out there

Glock prices seem to be down. I bought three new Glock Generation 3 Model 19's off Gunbroker a couple of weeks ago for $469 each.

I have shot every generation of glock but a 4th. I actually prefer a 2nd generation it fits my hand better.

Glock could make some serious bank if they brought back Gen 2's, or maybe just got rid of the finger grooves.  There is a whole segment of the gun world that would own a Glock if it wasn't for the grooves.

They're easy to remove.

The gen 4 is what finally turned me onto Glock. 2mm difference in grip works for me. I in no way intend to steal or steer this thread in a different direction, but if you read the book "Glock: Rise Of America's Gun" eye opener. I admire what he accomplished, but he was not a good person. Maybe wealth and success got to him. I can't say as I've never had either one .For what they are, I think current pricing is good. Not stupid expensive, but priced low enough that they are easily in reach to everyone.

You got that right !

Glock is already behind on over one million guns. I'm not sure removing finger grooves will make a difference.

I have been there and done it , though it was good after my project , it is still not them same. Gen 2's RULE!!!!

If glock would come out with a model with a 1911 grip angle and a thumb safety ...Imagine the possibilities!!! Maybe a full size single stack version that could actually use 1911 mags...

The Glock 1911 always gets rereleased on April 1 every year, never makes production though somehow.

It's really coming this year ...
Some guy on ar15.com told me so.

Is that all the difference? 2mm? feels more like 1"

I'm with you, if it weren't for gen4s I'd still be a glock hater
