Cyber attacks can kill just like a bullet, if you think about it. Our entire infrastructure is now run

by internet connection, some adequately firewalled for the time being, but that is iffy for the

future. This is really nothing new, but it is important to understand how well some person can

defeat security at a key place, or take over a satellite, or group of them, and wipe out key

pieces of navigation, communication and other life threatening data and controls that could

be vital to waging war or merely allowing for the maintaining of life.

 

If you think about how plugged in our society is to the internet, and then think about how it

could change your life in an instant, it might raise a little concern.

 

When I read his book, It made me think that way.
