Where to shoot??

Hey TGO, It turns out that I am going to be in McMinn county for longer than I thought. I need to find a place to shoot in or around McMinn, Bradley, or Monroe counties. Are there any public ranges? I wouldn't mind becoming a member at a shooters club, but I'm not into the fancy golf club style shooting places that are filled with folks who will look down upon me and my measly AR, AKs, and milsurps. It would need to be a place where I could take my buddy to shoot as well. I'm trying to get him into firearms. So, any suggestions?

Fugate firearms in Charleston In between Athens and Cleveland. They have an indoor range. Last time I was there I think it was 12.00 to shoot. You don't have to be a member. If I recall correctly I think they even gave me 4 b27 targets for free. You can shoot shotguns there and handguns unfortunately no high powered rifles such as ak/ar etc. I don't know of any ranges around except twra and or private shooting clubs where you can shoot high powered rifles.

If its just a 25 yard indoor range to plink at for a few cant beat Farnsworth in Vonore. . .yes the range is dirty buts it functional and only five bucks and you can shoot anything you want up to 30 06. . if Im not mistaken I think I even saw a shotgun being carried into the range there but I might have been mistaken
