.22LR bore tightening

It is primarily a joke for my shooting partner.  However, I am interested to see if there is any improvement in accuracy with the ammo I have been shooting out it.  There is the Limbsaver tuner and I heard about a guy who used a wad of rubber bands in several places on a barrel to tune the harmonics. So I figured the bands are cheap, dense, tightfitting and can easily be placed in various places in clusters or spaced out singly. Just something to mess around with to see if something happens or not.

Read the description on this $80.00 tuner:  http://www.killoughshootingsports.com/index.php/pappas-mid-barrel-tuner.html

Plus read this, maybe I am not too far off:  http://dwightpilkilton.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=198

I use a foam ear plug between the stock and barrel on some of my guns to reduce harmonics.

Takes some testing but you can significantly reduce your groups by reducing harmonics.

I don't see why these would not work. Edited by Dolomite_supafly

Somewhere there are a bunch of boy calves( young bulls, male cows, I am not sure the correct terminology) who think this is a great idea!
