It's good to be here. I got my handgun carry permit yesterday - only took 12 days. My wife said I looked like a kid at Christmas. I've been carrying the LC9, but it'll be sharing time with the M&P 40c. Carrying is definitely an adjustment, but it's well worth the peace of mind for myself and my family. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Doing the official Wally Walk tonight!

Welcome to the forums!

I lived in Hendersonville in 2001-2002, it was a real nice place.  The bad part was I had to commute to clarksville 5 days a week for work, LOL.

Yeah, carrying is definitely an adjustment, but as you said well worth it.  I only recently got a good gun belt so that's my piece of advice.  Get a good belt / holster if you don't have one yet.  I've been using one of the 5.11 nylon (with plastic insert) belts and it changed everything for the better.

Have fun on the wally walk!

I drive to Cool Springs 5 days a week so I can relate there. Thanks for the belt tip. Suggestions on brand, etc.?
