Browning Citiori

Recommended Posts

Anyone in the East Tennessee area know how to tear a Browing Citori receiver all the way down and also willing to let me watch so that I could do it the future?

I would like to do a complete cleaning and lube.  I have probably put 10,000 plus rounds through it.

I have close to 10K in my Citori, and its as tight today as it was on day one.  Me personally, I would be afraid of a complete tear down, it may become loose after assembly.    If you do learn, post some notes, I would like to know how, not that I would tear it down any time soon, but curious minds want to know.

I have gone as far as pulling the firing pins out and cleaning them and there channels.

Today I was shooting sporting clays and the break down lever on one station would not close all the way.

I broke it down and moved the lever back and forth a few time and it finally closed all the way.

Something must have gotten in some how.  I came home tonight and took it down and sprayed it out pretty good.

And it seems to be ok.
