If there were 6 jurors on the jury and they were 5 White and 1 Hispanic women.........why did this juror who would have been an alternate even get a vote in deliberations?

That story says she was a full juror.

She was Puerto Rican.  And yes, she was on the "infamous 6" jury.

 

BTW, she is getting murdered on social media right now.  It doesn't matter how much you say you hate Zimmerman, the haters will NEVER forgive you.  I've said it so many times in conversations, if you're on that jury, you should hide. . .for a long time.

who cares.  this is a distraction to several major problems that we have, i.e.,, irs, nsa, obama care.. do i need to go on.  we need to get back on track and get away from these distractions.

I saw this last night.  First thing I told my wife was that juror had her chance to vote during the case.  She voted not guilty on her own.  If she really felt that way she could have held out and hung the jury.

 

I am betting she was looking to get a book/movie deal or the news prompted her to say that.  Either way, she had her vote in the court room and that is final.

The sheer idiocy of this woman should strike terror in the hearts of everyone who carries...thank god she actually did the right thing but she clearly is not all there mentally and far more importantly; simply doesn't have a clue abut one of the most basic principles of being a human being which is the right to defend your own life.

 

Should, god forbid, someone tries to rape or kill her I wonder if she'll understand the concept then?
