I have bought and sold a few basic SIG 220's for around $500-550. The extra mags are a plus. They are usually around $30.00 each.

Just look for the normal stuff, operation, wear & tear etc. Don't think there's many bad things to say about any model of Sig

I agree if its your basic 220 in good shape with the extra mags , you are getting a gooddeal, he could probably get $600 with the mags. Butbif its one of the police tradeins with holster wear, with the extra mags its still a good deal, but probably more like $525 instead of 6. YMMV

My experience, a used older Sig P220 with 2 mags pre crazy could easily be found for $450 give or take $50 either way.  I find newer P220s, that appear to be newish looking, go for ~$600-$700.

I love my friend's sig p 220.  I recently purchased a sig p226.  I think you'll be happy with the gun as long as you're ok with the whole DA/SA thing.

If it is lnib with low round count you are getting an excellent deal.I traded one at a local gun store and got more then what you are paying.
