Recommendation for Business/Tax Consultant

I know we have a lot of people on hear who run their own business.  I am in the process of considering starting my own consulting company, but would really like to talk with a Business and Tax Consultant to determine the best way to setup my company as well as better understand the tax implications.  The only caveat is that I work directly with a foreign company, so if anyone also does that and has someone who they work with, that would be even better.    Essentially, I just want to make sure it is worth it financially compared to what I make today after I take into consideration personal/corporate tax, benefits, etc.

Does anyone use someone or multiple people that they would recommend.  I suspect they could be different people from a Business and tax perspective.  

 

Any info would be helpful. I am in the Middle TN area, so Nashville/Franklin area would be great.

Jamie ... I use my corporate lawyers for any sort of business questions.  The legality, formation, & day to day, etc...  Although I'm a small business ~ I like the fact that my lawyer in that field specializes in all things entity/business/corp.

 

For Tax questions ~ I use my new CPA.

 

My lawyers are excellent ... Can't speak to my CPA's ability, although, from what I have seen so far, he's pretty good.

 

I'll send you a referral for my lawyer.

I used LBMC in Brentwood for several years and was very happy with the service, would have stayed with them if a family member who is an excellent CPA hadn't moved to town and offered to do my stuff as a side gig.
