True Mav, I think we all know a family or two that literally work their asses off and are ineligible for any kind of assistance and they really need it, while welfare Wanda and her 11 children rake in $3000 a month + shit like having $53/month rent on a house worth about a quarter-million.

 

Unfortunately though, it would create an undue hardship for the tenant if they were ineligible for anything, so I'm sure if they get booted out of one program, there's another just waiting to get them signed up.

Anyone dumb enough to rent their house out via section 8 deserves what's coming to them.  That's like getting a hog then getting mad that it craps everywhere and tears up the yard.

 

Didn't sound like he had much of a choice after thugs inhabited the area.

So how can anyone justify it? Because the people that live off handouts from the government have a deal with the politicians; you keep sending us a check and we keep you in office.

Not all indigent people are worthless scumbags like the one who rented that house, but there are a lot who are.  The problem is how do you know.  I read a lot of the comments people posted saying how stupid the guy was for renting the property out through Section 8.  More than likely that was the only people who would go live in that area due to the crime rate, so he really didn't have a choice.

I am not exactly sure how Section 8 works, but I hope there is something in place were the landlord can report this tenant, and she becomes ineligible for any kind of housing assistance in the future.  My view is that if someone is so irresponsible when they are receiving such generous taxpayer assistance, then they should be cut off and forced to provide for themselves.    

There is, Mav, but it is still damned near impossible getting them out.

 

I got a house put in the Section 8 program, here in Clarksville, years ago for a soldier who wanted to keep it while

he was in Germany. I drove by that house a couple months later and there were pigs in the front yard, maybe some goats,

also. This was in the city limits. There wasn't a blade of grass in the front yard left. I called the Highland Rim folks and

reported it for the owner. Nothing was done until he got back from Germany and the place was a wreck. Never again.

 

Highland Rim was, maybe still is the office that doled out the Section 8 money for this area.

Here's the crux of everything.

 

The government doesn't produce one barrel of oil or one bushel of wheat. Their only source of income is to tax you, borrow it, or print it. What, 17 TRILLION in debt, not counting personal debt. Printing press running 24/7 and hyper inflation fast approaching. Taxes, ah taxes, if you add up EVERY tax you pay (cell phone, garbage pick up, food, water, fishing / hunting, gas, diesel, income tax, personal property, license, etc. etc.) it's slightly over 50% going to the government. That's if you're a poe folk like me.

 

We are totally down the tubes and the Federal Reserve is doing tricks Harry Houdini would be proud of to keep their game going. Ever notice prices of everything constantly going up when you shop? It's not the greedy producers, it's the greedy government inducing constant inflation by reducing the value of a dollar.

 

Speaking of which, can anyone tell me what a dollar is worth, define it? I can tell you what silver / gold is worth, what it purchased 100 years ago, purchasing power today and a hundred years from now.

 

IMO, what's coming financially for this greedy want  it now generation and government, will make the 1930-1942 Great Depression look like a family picnic.

 

It's immoral and socialistic to take from a hard working earner and have a government take a large percentage and squander it on lazy no good people, bridges to nowhere, studies on the mating habits of butterflies, propping up other governments and countries in the form of hundreds of billions in aid, etc.

I have a house that I rent out in Clarksville. The property management company who I went through told me that SEC 8 housing tenants are really great people who have an undeserved bad reputation. I still insisted on no SEC 8. I have friends and co workers who live in neighborhoods that used to be nice just a decade ago. Now one can't sell his house because of the thugs hanging around. Its not a stereotype, its a fact. Its not the race, its the mentality of the "people" who have no respect for where they live, their neighbors and themselves.

I think a certain class of renter has always been thataway. Back in the 1950's in a tiny podunk central AL town, as a kid, one grandpa was a working class carpenter who had invested for retirement with a few rental houses. I remember going with him to repair his properties when no-count tenants would move out, and they were not black. Same deal-- nasty, destroyed plumbing, wrecked doors, holes in the sheetrock. Exactly the same as today in urban areas.

 

Can't recall if it was gramps property or some other relative, they had a pretty nice house on 80 acres of woods they rented out back then. It was a cold winter for alabama, and the no-count tenants tore down the entire front porch and used it for firewood because they were too lazy to go out in 80 acres of woods and gather deadwood or cut a tree.

The way I understood the article is the federal government wants to fix the less than desirable areas of a community/city by giving subsidies, grants, etc... to those who may not otherwise be able to afford to move out of that area.  Where is the fairness in that?  Call me racist, but this is seriously ****ed up.

Holy ####. They are going to turn the rest of the country into Memphis. This is pretty much exactly what was done in Memphis. They demolished the public housing and used section 8 and other HUD vouchers and programs to relocate the residents into established neighborhoods. The idea behind it is that if you take take a family out of a concentrated area of poverty, you will give the kids positive role models not dependent on .gov assistance and it will also help diffuse the concentrated power of criminal gangs. The reality is that they bring their gang affiliations with them and spread the reach and influence of those criminal gangs. This is very, very bad.

I have said often times that I propose this experiment for liberal whites and use Nancy Pelosi as an example

 

Take Pelosi and put her is day downtown Detroit or any city area with a huge minority population ( harlem, Memphis, places like that) since that is where most democrat votes come from and how they win elections ( liberal self hating white people are the minority of their votes by percentage). Leave her there with no bodyguards and have her act and look like a typical white person living there so no one knows she is a congresswoman for one week. I will vote democrat everytime If she does this.

 

Here is what will happen. If she is not killed or brutally sexually assaulted or both, she would be running from the area screaming "I did not think I would have to live with them. I just wanted their votes". After any liberal white politician had to do this I predict one of two things would happen

1, they would at a minimum be much more conservative

2, They would consider membership in a fraternal organization like the KKK proving the liberals are far more racist.

True. There are more white people in sheer numbers, but there are also FAR MORE white tax payers. Facts can't be racist, but I will get called one for pointing out blacks use far more welfare than they put in and a higher percentage of the black race is on welfare and far too many don't see these liberal whites want to keep them there to control their votes. .

 

Another point is that in West Virginia, Kentucky and many other decent Christian states and mountain areas there are poor white folks on welfare. Now they don't kill each other for sneakers ( cowboy boots) and thing like happen in places like Memphis or little rock. Now many say "that is racist". No its a fact. The difference between me and a racist is that I know its not the black man being black that is the reason for this. Those damn liberals have done everything they can to perpetuate the stereotype of the savage black man to scare white people so they can come in and control black votes.

 

White people and blacks with conservative principles ever get together these disgraces like Reid and Pelosi won't know what to do. We will work together like we did before all these agitators started trying to turn us against each other.

he said can be plainly seen in lots of places. Only an example, nothing more.

 

Kind of like the time I went into Krogers for a couple gallons of milk and a woman walks just fine, out of a Cadillac,

gets into the Hoverround and rides to the soda aisle, gets a case of bottled water, in front of me in the checkout line,

pays with her EBT card rides to the door, gets up from said Hoverround and walks out of Krogers with the case

and gets into the Cadillac and rides off into the sunset. She walked pretty well, too.

The wife and I were on vacation in Lancaster, PA ( Hershey, Park, amish and best friend chicken outside of Dixie) and there was a couple in front of us. They were latino and very dark so I figure Mexican. I don't know they were illegal or their parents were illegal, but it would not surprise me if you go back at least one generation if someone broke into our country.

 

Anyway the breeder ( woman) was pregnant, had an infant in the shopping cart. They had 4 kids of various elementary ages running around. Here is what pisses me off. They paid with Wic and then for a couple things pedro ( don't know if that's his name) pulled out a wad of cash. I was so pissed about how hard I work.

 

IF YOU CAN"T FEED THEM DON"T BREED THEM. I know that had to be on the dole for sometime because each wic check is for certain items like milk or juice and she had her order divided by what goes with each wic check. . I can understand people down on their luck, but when you keep having kids when you are already getting wic, food stamps, welfare, or public housing you are commiting fraud and theft.

 

I was so ashamed when I went to church I actually had to stay extra for spiritual council, but I actually though about benefits to handling illegals "with special camps" and having to learn to say "hurry up or the water will get cold". I felt so ashamed as a Christian, but this is what is happening. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE FELT THAT WAY.

I just had a great idea.  Any one that votes for this needs to have their neighborhood put on the list of places to help them move too.  Second, open their district up second to move people into because those voters must be the ones supporting the idea for their elected official to be backing it.

I agree, but it will never happen. The liberal whites don't want to actually live around the people they claim to champion. Hence I tell people the most racist people are often the most liberal white people.

Look at any major city in the 50s like Detroit and then look at a place like that Today. it will just spread crime out over more areas and at the same time the damn liberals want to try and limit our second amendment rights while moving people next to us that are a reason sadly many of us need them.

Easy they will target neighborhoods that tend to be white that vote conservative. I guarantee they will not be trying to move minorities into white neighborhoods the rich liberals live in
