CNN Gun Control-Post up!!

Wasn't sure where to post this. I hate the fact that all of this comes in light of the disaster yesterday in VA. I know a few of the other boards I frequent have endless debate threads about the incident and frankly, I'm trying to stay out of it!!

I noticed this on CNN and thought it was a bit interesting......

I'm sure it'll do NOTHING for legislation, but maybe it'll secretly open the eyes of some folks somewhere in the system or otherwise.

I hate it that the gun control activists are using it as a platform to defend their right to attack those of us who abide by the constitutional laws.

they're actually building their platform on the bodies that THEY created!

yeah... we're 'winning'... the sad thing is that there is any argument at all.

Until the existence of evil PEOPLE can be eliminated, there will always be stupid PEOPLE who blame inanimate OBJECTS for their deeds... and let the evil PEOPLE back out into society, on parole, amongst the now-defenseless law-abiding population.

There will always be things that are hard to understand, but there is nothing so appalling as blind, mis-placed oppression in reaction to a problem which no 'ban' could prevent.

These lemmings have convinced themselves to trade liberty for false-security, and personal-responsibility for dependence on an increasingly tyrannical government... The only possible reason for this mentality can be a lack of resolve to do their own dirty work to clean up society, they want to pay an elected band of thugs to do it for them. These are socialists bent upon locking America in its own prison, and giving the government the key.
