Zastava knows how to build solid weapons. They may not win any fit and finish awards like highfalutin fancy pantz companies like Wilson combat but Zastava builds tough stuff.

Take care of that pistol and it'll last longer than you will.

If I were a "hammer semiauto" guy, I'd be all over one of those. I just don't care for hammers too much but that is one cool little pistola for sure! Edited by Caster

Congratulations on making the decision. This will be only the first of many to come. I assure you of that. But go into every decision you make with an open mind, research the possibilities, and I'm sure you will do well.

you can't beat something like this, low price, rugged, reliable, easy to use, good caliber, etc.

Congrats ninjychop, as Hipower mentions, this will most likely be the first of many. It took along time for the gun bug to hit me, I've always had one or three floating around but a few years back something inside of me decided that any money spent recreationally should go tword guns. Now I'm currently looking for a good dumpster to live in so I can start using rent money to feed the need.

It's a good thing.

I enjoy shooting about anything, but I am higly partial to handguns.  I just like the feel and the challenge of them.  Pistol, revolver....I like 'em both and have a couple or so of each. I think you did great for the money you spent for sure!!

steel, single action, single stack, 9mm. Now, to find some ammo!

Speaking of which, I'm confused on the "Tokarev type pistol" part, isn't that normally a 7.62x25?

I have never seen a pistol like that, but judging by the price and the words here I may have to get one myself. I think you made and awesome choice.
